The investors sued the developer of the renowned Bored Ape Yacht Club assemblage of NFTs, and its promoters, including Madonna, Paris Hilton and Justin Bieber.

The investors are asserting that the celebrities duped them into investing in the collectibles by not disclosing that they took money to pump the sales.

The latest lawsuit has targeted celebrities for promoting digital financial products.

The response from the celebrities on the lawsuit is awaited.

Earlier, the investors sued Kim Kardashian and Floyd Mayweather Jr. for their involvement in promoting the EthereumMax token.

However, the judge rejected the complaint saying that the investors didn't produce facts for paying higher than the fair market value.

Kardashian gave acceptance to pay $1.26 million to resolve SEC promotions-related claims.

The investors of Bored Ape NFT are seeking an unspecified amount as compensation.
